That is in part because onsite work can be very distracting. It’s nice to go to the office and have a bunch of people around you that you can control. But it can also be a very stressful and distracting place to spend your time. Onsite work can be especially stressful because, unlike in-office work, there’s no direct connection to the other person.
Onsite work is difficult to master because it requires you to be in the same physical location as the other person being interacted with. But the problem is that if that connection is hard to find, it can be very difficult to maintain. What this means is that if you are a workaholic, you usually will not be able to devote the time that you need to do your onsite work. This isn’t to say that you can’t do it at all.
This is one of the reasons why, for the vast majority of people, onsite work is very difficult at best. This is because, for most of us, we have to be onsite to get our work done. In-office work is easy because you can walk out of your office, drop your phone, grab a cup of tea, and be back in the same room where you first entered. So it’s easier to get things done when you’re not at the same desk.
