I am a big proponent of keeping notes on paper, because the way we record and record information is much easier. I like using my iphone or ipad to take my notes, and keep all of my important things with myself at all times, even when I travel. I was also hoping that this would help with the self-awareness side of things, because I always seem to remember my notes from time to time.
I recently started using an iPad, and have found it easier than using my iphone. Of course I haven’t used this very often, but I can see how the differences are just so much more obvious. I can’t believe how easy it is, and how much less time it took me to actually write my notes. I think it’s so much more efficient to be able to write down thoughts and ideas, and then be able to look back and see the notes.
I have the same feelings about using paper like the paper cup. Of course it takes more time to write and proofread, but I do get a better chance at writing and proofreading in a more organized way.
I think paper is better for many reasons. First and foremost it is more portable. Paper can be tossed in the trash, and if you want to be more prepared you can buy a case made out of it. It also doesn’t feel as though you’re writing on a surface that is constantly being pulled away and put back on. And it’s even easier to organize and write on a paper that is well-organized and organized.
One thing that I think paper allows for is to write and make connections without interrupting your flow. With paper, you can start writing and then come back later and see what you wrote, but paper often feels like youre constantly interrupting yourself. So paper is a good idea if you want to have a more organized flow that is easier to follow.
