The fact is that people can’t always translate what they don’t understand. It’s not like the movie trailer is full of English-only words. The fact is that no matter what the translation might say, it doesn’t really mean anything at all. It’s like a joke. It’s a reference to a joke, but what are the jokes? You don’t know what the joke is, but you assume that the joke is in English.
Another thing is that we have found a couple of people who say they’ll translate a joke into English, but that it’s actually just a joke in Russian. Like “I’ll translate this into English: ‘I’ll kill you with my words in the morning’.
I have to admit that I was a little disappointed when I heard that the developers decided to not use Russian for the game’s story. I know that this is something that the developers have been discussing with me before, so I was expecting that maybe they were going to use the languages other developers use.
That’s not to say that the game is unplayable. The developer has said they’ll use a Russian voice actor for the game’s narrator, and we can assume the game will be bilingual in the main languages of Russia, and English. In fact, it’s possible the game will be sold in both languages. Maybe in the future we’ll see a Russian version of the game that doesn’t use that awkward voice actor.
The developers also said they were not going to include a Russian language menu, so the games menu wont be in Russian. The only languages that they are going to have available on the game are English and Russian.
So the game will be translated to Russian in English. If we get the chance to do this, we could have a look at the site where the game will be released and which language will be translated by us. We could find a list of players who will be translated, and then we could compare the translated game to the one you’re looking at. If you like it, and you haven’t got all of the language features you would try it out.
The game will be released in early 2014 and will be available on PC, Mac, and Linux. The PC version was in development for nearly two years before development was halted and the game was released in late 2013. The game is actually only a year old, but it features an absolutely gorgeous soundtrack. The game is rated M for mature content, which is nice, but we don’t know if it was just a matter of getting the game out with a few extra years of development time.
