There is nothing more frustrating than feeling like something is missing, and the only way to find out is to ask a helpful friend. I really don’t need another guide to what to do, and this is the first time I’ve ever gotten the answer to my question. I’ve searched the internet and I’ve asked a lot of people, but I never seemed to get the answer I was looking for.
You can always just ask, but the best guides will be those that teach you how to do things without you ever having to ask. For example, if you want to make a cocktail, make a drink. If you want to take a walk in the park, make a park walk. If you want to play pool, make a pool game. There are tons of things you can do without asking, and that’s how we learn what works best for you.
I have a couple of questions.
First, what is the difference between a guide and a set of books? I always thought there was a difference between a guide and a set of books, but this seems to be the one that is used most often.
A guide is a set of books and instructions for you to read, or you can think of them as your “guide to”. For example, I can tell you what to do, or you can tell me by how I do things, or you can tell me by how I think, etc. With a guide I am literally telling you the steps to get the job done.
Guide books, however, are a bit different. They are a reference source that you can consult for specific information. They are usually written by someone with a certain amount of authority – a teacher, for example.
Guide books make you think about what you’re doing and the steps you need to take so you can get the job done. For example, if you need to pick a restaurant for a movie night, guide books will let you know how to do that so you don’t get bored in your seat.
Guide books are also important because they are a way to learn about a topic, such as construction. For instance, if you want to learn about painting, you can use guide books to find out what you need to know. Guide books are also important because they can help you learn how to do something that might seem complicated.
